Lash lift or extensions — which one suits you?

Side by side result of a lash lift and a lash extension set

We sell both treatments, so we have no reason to steer you either way. What follows is the same conversation we have at the consultation bed several times a week.

Start with your raw material

A lash lift can only work with what you grow. If your natural lashes are reasonably long but grow straight out or downward — extremely common among our Malaysian and East Asian guests — a lift will look near-miraculous, because all that length was hiding in plain sight. If your lashes are short or sparse, a lift will curl what little is there and you will squint at the mirror wondering what you paid for. Sparse lashes want extensions, which add fibre where nature declined.

Then your tolerance for rules

Extensions are a relationship: infills every two to three weeks, oil-free products, a nightly wash, no lash curlers, ideally no face-down sleeping. Many guests find the ritual genuinely pleasant. If you already know you will not keep appointments, do not start — a grown-out, twisted set looks worse than no set.

A lift is a fling: 45 minutes, one 24-hour care window, then nothing. It relaxes gracefully over six to eight weeks with no awkward phase and no removal appointment.

The arithmetic, in ringgit

Extensions: a volume set at RM 260 plus two infills a month at RM 140 lands around RM 280–400 monthly once you are in rhythm. A lift at RM 160 every seven weeks averages under RM 100 a month. Extensions cost more because they deliver more — density that no lift can create. The question is whether your mornings, your wedding season or your Instagram grid need that density.

Occasions change the answer

For a single event three days away, choose a lift (zero adaptation period). For a wedding, choose extensions via a trial-first bridal package — photography rewards density. For everyday polish with minimal upkeep, the lift wins. For "I want to throw away my mascara and eyeliner both", extensions.

The switch nobody mentions

You are not marrying either choice. Plenty of our guests alternate: extensions through festive and wedding seasons, lifts through quieter months to let natural lashes cruise. The only rule is a short rest window between an extension removal and a lift — we will schedule it properly.
