Founded 2023
From a single lash bed to a full suite
Fernsmith began when our founder, Yuen Lim, left a high-volume chain salon with one conviction: a lash artist doing four guests at once is doing none of them justice.
She opened a single-bed room above 163 Retail Park with a strict rule — one guest, one artist, one unhurried appointment. Word travelled the way it always does in Mont Kiara: over coffee, school runs and condo lift lobbies. Within a year the studio had grown into a three-suite floor, and the rule never changed.
Today a team of four senior artists carries the same discipline. Every hire completes at least 400 supervised training hours in mapping, isolation and fan-making before taking a solo booking, and every set that leaves the studio is photographed, reviewed and logged for the guest's next visit.

Your slot is yours alone. We do not overlap guests, and we quote realistic durations instead of squeezing a two-hour set into ninety minutes.

Ask us what is touching your eyes and we will show you the box — Korean silk fibres, medical-grade adhesive, single-use tools opened in front of you.
The space
Designed to lower your shoulders
The studio sits one level above the street — close enough to be convenient, high enough to be quiet. Linen day beds, warm indirect light and a strict no-speaker-phone policy do the rest.
Every suite is private, temperature-controlled and reset between guests with hospital-grade disinfection. Herbal tea is poured before your consultation, not after your payment.
