Terms & Conditions

These terms govern appointments at Fernsmith Lash & Brow Studio and use of the website fernsmith.my, both operated by Fernsmith Beauty Sdn Bhd (Company Reg. No. 202301052148 (1533672-M)), a company incorporated in Malaysia. By booking an appointment or using this website you accept them. Malaysian law applies, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.

1. Bookings

All treatments are by appointment. A booking is confirmed only once we reply to your enquiry with a date, time and artist. Enquiries submitted through the website are requests, not confirmed bookings.

2. Deposits

Weekend slots and all bridal packages require a RM 50 deposit, payable by bank transfer or e-wallet on confirmation. The deposit is deducted from your final bill. It is refundable in full if you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, and forfeited otherwise.

3. Lateness and cancellation

• Arriving up to 15 minutes late: we will do our best, though the treatment may be shortened to protect the next guest's slot.
• More than 15 minutes late: the appointment may need to be rebooked and is treated as a late cancellation.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, forfeit any deposit paid. We are humans; genuine emergencies are treated as such.

4. Your responsibilities before treatment

You agree to disclose known allergies, eye conditions, recent eye surgery, pregnancy or current use of lash growth serums during consultation. Patch tests are offered free of charge 48 hours before lifting, tinting or lamination treatments and are strongly recommended for first-time guests. Withholding relevant health information may make a treatment unsafe, and we may decline to proceed.

5. Treatment outcomes

Lash and brow results vary with natural hair condition, lifestyle and aftercare. We guarantee careful, qualified workmanship; we cannot guarantee identical results to photographs, including our own portfolio. Retention concerns raised within 72 hours of an application are assessed and, where the fault is ours, corrected free of charge — see the Return & Refund Policy.

6. Children and accompanying persons

Treatments are provided to guests aged 18 and above, or 16–17 with a parent present. For safety and calm, we ask that children and additional companions do not attend appointments except as part of a booked bridal party.

7. Gift treatments

Treatments purchased as gifts are transferable but not redeemable for cash and must be used within six months of purchase unless a different validity is stated in writing.

8. Website use

Content on fernsmith.my — text, photographs and graphics — belongs to Fernsmith Beauty Sdn Bhd and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. The website's advice pages are general information, not medical advice; consult a doctor for eye health concerns. We aim for accuracy but do not warrant that every price or detail is current at all times; confirmed bookings always state final prices.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with any treatment is limited to the price paid for that treatment.
